The new solvent-based pigmented pastes show improvements over the previous bases. These changes are reflected in improvements in lightfastness, chemical resistance, recoatability or outside surface resistance.
In the table of specifications shown below, we can see: its lightfastness, its outside surface resistance or its capacity to be degraded with white, as well as its resistance to acids and bases for application in different formats.

Grey scale (Chemical resistance/Repainting capacity/Outdside surface resistance. DIN ISO 105-A02).
The colour variation is specified by associating it to a standardised scale where pairs of greys are represented where one of them maintains a constant hue, intensity and saturation while the other varies its saturation appearing lighter and lighter.
The scale covers:
5: No change in colour
4: Slight variation
3: Variation in an easily noticeable way
2: Intense variation
1: Very intense variation.
Blue scale (For lightfastness test. DIN ISO 105-B01)
The blue scale is a set of 8 dyes whose fundamental characteristic is that each of them is 10 times more solid than their immediate predecessor:
1 = very low lightfastness
8 = very high lightfastness
